Actalent is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer – R&D, Cloud-Native 4G/5G Networks to join a compact R&D product team.

You will build cloud-native software for Linux using languages such as Go, C/C++, Java, and work with Kubernetes, Rancher, and ESXi to support telecom network solutions. The role emphasizes multi-threaded development, CI/CD with GitLab, and collaboration across hardware and software configurations, including AI use cases and large data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10–12+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C, C++, Java, and Go for Linux-based systems.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D to design, implement, and test software for 4G/5G network solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers within a small team.
• Develop software for Linux platforms with multi-threaded designs.
• Contribute to web server applications using HTML, PHP, Node.js, or Go.
• Design relational database schemas and optimize SQL performance.
