Summary:

We’re seeking a driven and innovativeengineerto join theCloud Engineeringteam. In this role you will be responsible for thebuildout and upkeepof core systems for running Bamboo applications. You’ll create and develop automations responsible for everything from regular maintenanceto CI/CDdriving our application releases.You’ll use your knowledge of cloud services to guide both your team and applicationteams in their best use.

What You’ll Do:

• Buildthe foundation of theBamboo Health platform with product and engineering teams
• Be a hands-onengineer, developingautomations andservices driving the platform’s core
• Diagnose, resolve, and prevent recurrences of production issues
• Optimize current solutions with a focus on cost, reliability,and performance
• Quickly triage and resolve production situations as they arise
• Evaluate new softwareand serviceofferings against the current platform vision
• Work withour security team to continuouslyensure our platform’s compliance with HITRUST and other standards

What Success Looks Like…

• Develop an understanding of the as-is state of the Bamboo Health product lines & technical stack
• Contributecodefollowing best practices for readability, testing, and maintainability.
• Develop relationshipswith engineering and cross-functional teams
• Gainknowledgeof core Bamboo Health supporting infrastructureand automations.
• Participate inthe team calland releaserotations(eachevery ~1 of 9 weeks),responding tocloud-relatedproduction emergencies as neededin the call rotation and executing sensitive off-hours changes on release.
• Contributeto the design and maintenance of new and existing infrastructure
• Understand Bamboo Health’scloud platform and applications
• Implementsolutions to contribute new functionality and higher reliability to our systems
• Collaboratewith application teams to refine and improve their use of our platform

What You Need:

• 5+ years of software development or operations experience
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment
• Self-starter with an ability to solve problems with little or no direction and a passion for driving change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for overall architecture, product, and application design
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and assist less experienced team members
• Experience working with a public cloud such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar
• Experience with containerization systems such asPodman,Docker, LXC, and similar
• Experience in a container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of a common scripting language such as Python, Ruby, etc
• Experience working in Terraform, CloudFormation,or other infrastructure as code systems
• Experience withCI/CD platforms such as Jenkins in a modern containerized environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
• The ability to travelperiodicallyfor work.

Helpful/Preferred:

• Knowledge of PostgreSQLand MySQLdatabase management systems, particularly within Amazon Aurora
• Experience in cloud networking
• Experience as a web application developer, on stacks such as Ruby on Rails and Spring Boot
• Experience with Atlassian product suite
• Experienceworking instrict compliance guidelines such as HITRUST, PCI-DSS, or equivalents from other industries
