A leading insurance company seeks a Sr. Cloud Data Engineer to join their Group Benefits Business Intelligence team. This hybrid role focuses on creating data solutions, mentoring, and collaborating with Actuarial teams to support strategic decision-making. The Group Benefits Business Intelligence area is seeking a Sr. Cloud Data Engineer. This position is in a small group that works directly with our customers and prides itself in delivery capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to have a significant bottom-line impact through the delivery of quality and actionable information to our business customers. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with strong technical skills and project-level leadership experience.
We are looking for a well-rounded individual that is comfortable working in a process light environment and willing to cross the traditional role boundaries of developer, BA, Architect and project lead. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable working directly with customers in an iterative fashion to achieve the desired result. As such, strong verbal communication and the ability to create your own technical specifications and designs based on customer needs is critical for success in this role.
This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office Hartford, CT 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
