Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) seeks a Sr. Cloud Architect in Annapolis Junction, MD to oversee a cost‑effective migration of data, applications, and technologies from on‑premises to a cloud‑based infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and M365, strong PowerShell scripting skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration; active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from on-premises to the Cloud.
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Identify technical requirements.
• Manage project timelines.
• Identify and implement cloud optimization and cost savings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs during and after migration.
• Provide post-migration support and address issues.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
• Implement security and compliance policies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing.
• Ensure seamless integration and performance of Microsoft 365 apps.

Job Description

The Cloud Architect will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues
• Conduct risk assessments
• Identify technical requirements
• Manage project timelines
• Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
• Work with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
• Provide post-migration support and address any issues that arise

• Implement security and compliance policies
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing
