Job Description

An enterprise level client is looking for an Information Security Cloud Architect specializing in Application Security. This role involves designing and implementing secure cloud architectures with a focus on application security principles. The architect will collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure architects, and security professionals to ensure cloud-based applications are resilient against cybersecurity threats and compliant with industry standards. This is a hybrid opportunity reporting 2 days onsite in Orange County, CA.

Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Security Architecture:
   • Design secure cloud architectures.
   • Develop security design principles and guidelines.
   • Align with enterprise security strategies and regulations.
2. Application Security:
   • Integrate SAST and DAST into CI/CD pipelines.
   • Provide guidance on secure coding and vulnerability management.
   • Conduct security assessments and manage application security controls.
3. Collaboration and Leadership:
   • Integrate security best practices in SDLC.
   • Automate security testing and deployment with DevOps teams.
   • Promote application security awareness.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated on security threats and technologies.
   • Recommend new security tools and technologies.
