KBW is partnering with a top Pharmaceutical firm in Cambridge, MA seeking a Supply Chain Planner. This is a temporary role until the end of the year and will be on a hybrid basis. If you have 3+ years of experience in clinical supply experience, apply today!

Job Overview

The Sr. Clinical Supply Chain Planner is responsible for overseeing end-to-end clinical supply chain activities for assigned clinical protocols. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders including Clinical Operations, Global Planning, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMOs), and Contract Research Operations (CROs) to ensure seamless supply of Clinical Trial Material. Key responsibilities include forecasting, packaging, labeling, distribution, inventory management, financial planning/budgeting, vendor oversight, and eTMF filing of Clinical Supply documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excel in a collaborative environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and effectively manage workload priorities to meet project timelines.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities

• Manage packaging, labeling, and distribution of clinical trial material for global clinical trials
• Support Interactive Response Technology (IRT) development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system oversight, utilizing the system for active management of clinical trial material
• Utilize and support the management of budget forecasting and planning tools
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations to align on demand assumptions
• Develop supply strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
• Design and manage supply & demand forecasts using web-based optimization tools
• Identify potential supply risks and develop risk mitigation plans
• Drive label creation and approval processes, including translations and regulatory compliance
• Communicate clinical supply requirements to Global Planning to ensure coordinated demand and supply
• Manage return and destruction of clinical trial material for assigned protocols
• Monitor program/protocol budget, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and aim for cost-saving targets
• Maintain collaborative relationships with third-party vendors to ensure planning activities align with operations and quality requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• BS degree in Life Sciences or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in clinical supply
• Understanding of end-to-end clinical supply chain activities
• Experience with supply/demand forecasting systems preferred (e.g., NSIDE, Bioclinica, 4G, Oracle, etc.)
