Job summary

Wealth Enhancement in Los Angeles is hiring a Sr Client Service Associate to serve as a trusted partner to clients and advisors, delivering expert support across client service and operations. The role is hybrid and pays a base salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits.

You will coordinate onboarding, manage accounts and transfers, maintain the Salesforce CRM, and collaborate with advisors and vendors to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in financial services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure, and prioritize tasks.
• Experience training new employees as needed.
• Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred; Workday preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients and advisors, providing expert support and coordination across all client service and operational activities. Primary Job Functions

Office Support

• Schedule meetings with clients and product vendors or sponsors
• Manage and distribute mail, including coordinating overnight deliveries
• Order office marketing materials and printer supplies, and coordinate printer maintenance with vendors and technology staff

New Client Onboarding

• Ensure accurate completion and setup of prospect and new client paperwork
• Follow up on funds transfers from surrendering companies
• Maintain the Salesforce CRM database
• Research and resolve issues with the broker/dealer, Wealth Enhancement Group operations team, or vendors
• Record incoming assets in the appropriate blotting tool

Client Relationship Management

• Communicate with clients to understand their personal and financial needs
• Prepare account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, and required minimum distributions (RMDs)
• Address client requests directly or elevate to advisors as needed, including processing death claims
• Collaborate with clients’ tax or legal counsel to address concerns

Client Review Preparation and Follow-Up

• Gather client data and prepare materials for meetings and reviews
• Conduct tax research (including 1099s) as needed
• Complete follow-up actions for clients after meetings

Industry And Company Knowledge

• Apply knowledge of WEG’s suitability guidelines, operational processes, and sales model
• Demonstrate understanding of financial products, terminology, and practices
• Maintain working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices
• Attend client services and company educational events, as well as vendor presentations

Team and Corporate Support

• Support advisor team operations to streamline processes
• Complete operational projects that support enhancements and changes
• Communicate process and sales updates to the team
• Participate in WEG-offered sessions such as Micro Monday, ATO Answers, Client Service Community, and RoundTable LIVE
• Manage vendors to established service level agreements

Improve Service Quality by using Ai and digital tools

• Use approved AI and digital tools to simplify work, improve service quality, and increase efficiency, while validating outputs for accuracy, privacy, and business alignment.
• Identify and elevate inaccurate information and knowledge gaps, or issues related to digital tools

Projects

• Support special projects as assigned
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years in financial services
• Experience working with custodians such as Pershing, Fidelity Wealthscape and/or Charles Schwab is strongly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with deadlines, adapt under pressure, and prioritize tasks
• Ability to train new employees as needed
• Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
• Experience with Workday preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
• Demonstrated industry, product, and company knowledge
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external clients
• Ability to develop client trust and maintain positive relationships
• Demonstrated collaboration and commitment across organizational initiatives
• Proficient at using AI and digital tools

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $51,450.00 - $84,000. However, the base salary range bolded above ($75,000.00 to $85,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
