Microchip is looking for a dynamic Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to help drive sales growth, within a select group of major Storage, Data Center, and Communications OEMs, located in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilize the Microchip Sales Processes to create new engagements and drive the sales funnel to grow revenue at select target customers.
• Provide technical and business insight at every level of the customer engagement.
• The CEM owns and drives the company relationship with the assigned customer base.
• The CEM must effectively work within a team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies.
• Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions.
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the customer’s products, the solutions we offer that create value to the customer, the overall market, competitive landscape and internal organization.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate years of experience supporting semiconductor sales; technical degree preferred.
• 9+ years of experience supporting datacenter or marketing experience preferred (networking, server and storage hardware or datacenter).
• Prior experience managing and building partnerships at large accounts.
• Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
