We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.

We are looking for a Sr. Civil/Site Engineer | Project Manager who will play both key technical and managerial roles in the design, planning, and implementation of site civil design/development projects for our clients. You’ll leverage your expertise in site design and creative problem-solving skills while collaborating closely with institutions/municipal agencies. From initial concept development to final plan submittal, this role will be involved with projects through every stage of the design process, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

• This position involves internal collaboration through our cross-functional team dynamic and company culture.
• You will act as the Design Lead and/or manage all project aspects including design/study development and site/field visits during design and construction.
• You will oversee your own projects and assist co-workers with projects and tasks within our team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Design Lead and/or Project Manager in Civil/Site Development Design projects:
  • Work with teams and clients to develop data, complete technical analysis, and prepare permitting and construction drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Develop Concept, Layout, Preliminary, and Final Engineering Plans.
  • Develop and oversee erosion/sediment control plans and utility/utility relocation plans.
  • Manage permit applications.

• Serve as the technical expert in site layout, utility and grading plans, stormwater analyses and reports, and site development permits.
• Perform civil engineering analyses and numerical analysis using various software programs.

• Determine hydrology, develop hydraulic/drainage and stormwater calculations, SWPPPs, and obtain NDPES permits.

• Participate in field observation & inspection of construction activities, especially regarding problem-solving scenarios.
• Communicate with clients on deliverables.
• Develop and oversee project proposals and cost estimates.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and quality of work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Project Management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for Civil/Site Design projects.
• Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and client interaction comfort.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Team player with reliability and punctuality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
