Ardurra is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on public projects to join our team Newport, CA!

Primary Function

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a technical lead role for a variety of public work infrastructure projects. The engineering tasks include design work, research, and preparation of drawings and designs for site layout, horizontal utility projects (water, wastewater, stormwater), site grading, and drainage, including permitting and planning to serve our local municipal clients.

Strong understanding of the environmental and land development regulatory framework and experience interacting with regulators and construction administration of public and private land development projects.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or other relevant discipline
  • PE license in CA is preferred
  • 6+ years of directly applicable experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to function efficiently within a project team environment
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other design software
Salary Range:

$145,000 to $164,000 annually (DOE)
