The Channel Sales Representative drives the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and profit goals. This role involves identifying and approaching key or strategic partners, setting short and long-term channel strategies, fostering reseller satisfaction and performance, developing customer relationships through partnering and attending trade shows or seminars, providing technical education on Honeywell products, and managing business reports and opportunities. Additionally, the role includes analyzing market trends, competitive intelligence, and driving business via e-commerce portals.

This position focuses on building relationships and expanding business at existing distributors by selling new and existing applications and supporting distributors in acquiring new end-customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve annual sales targets by leveraging all available resources to maximize growth.
  2. Implement marketing and sales programs to expand territory.
  3. Provide product support and training, including assisting system integrators and end users with technical aspects of projects.
  4. Define and monitor opportunity pipelines.
  5. Create new business, maintain existing accounts, and foster growth through end-user conversions.
  6. Secure Honeywell product specifications from consulting engineers and architects.
  7. Raise awareness about Energy Efficiency and Optimization opportunities.
  8. Coordinate with team members to maximize sales coverage.
  9. Diagnose and resolve system failures onsite and remotely.
  10. Create tools and guides to facilitate product adoption and improve configuration efficiency.
  11. Support marketing events with demos and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  12. Stay updated on building technologies and serve as a technical advisor for key customers.
  13. Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights for strategic planning.
  14. Gather customer feedback and act as a Technical Product Owner for new developments.
  15. Lead Beta tests and Proof of Concept evaluations for new products.
  16. Advocate for customer needs, bringing a system-wide perspective to maximize ROI.
  17. Travel at least 50% of the time is required.

This is a remote role; candidates must reside in NY, MA, VT, or NH.

The salary range is $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience, education, and location.
