Sr Channel Sales Representative - Energy Meters (Finance)

The Channel Sales Representative drives the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and profit goals. Responsibilities include identifying and approaching key or strategic partners, setting short and long-term channel strategies, fostering reseller satisfaction and performance, developing customer relationships through partnering and attending trade shows or seminars, providing education on Honeywell products via technical presentations, and managing reports and opportunity statuses through regular business reviews. The role also involves analyzing competitive intelligence, market trends, and driving business through e-commerce portals.

This role focuses on building relationships and growing business at existing distributors by selling new and existing applications, and helping distributors win business with new end-customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve annual sales plans leveraging all resources to maximize growth.
  • Implement marketing and sales programs for territory expansion.
  • Provide product support and training, including assisting system integrators and end users with technical aspects of projects.
  • Define and monitor opportunity pipelines.
  • Create new business, maintain current business, and manage growth through end-user conversions and product specifications by consulting engineers and architects.
  • Increase market awareness of energy efficiency and optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate with team members to maximize sales coverage of commercial markets.
  • Diagnose and resolve system failures onsite and remotely.
  • Create tools, utilities, guides, and applications to facilitate product adoption and improve configuration efficiency.
  • Support marketing events by building tradeshow and virtual product demos, presenting Honeywell's products to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuously learn about building technologies and serve as a technical advisor for key system integrator customers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights for strategic planning.
  • Gather Voice of the Customer feedback and act as the Technical Product Owner for development teams.
  • Lead Beta testing and Proof of Concept evaluations for new products.
  • Advocate for customer needs and opportunities, bringing a system-wide perspective to maximize ROI.
  • Travel 50% or more is required.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in NY, MA, VT, or NH.

The salary range is $90,000-$120,000, with the actual offer depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
