Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking a Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst to manage and optimize the JD Edwards ERP environment within a global manufacturing setting. You will partner with Finance and Accounting to improve processes and deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.

You will lead JD Edwards projects, ensure data quality and governance, and train users on new functionality while staying current with JD Edwards enhancements and best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ERP Business Systems Analyst experience with JD Edwards in a business environment.
• Deep JD Edwards functional expertise in Accounting and Finance.
• Some technical capabilities including JDE configuration and integrations.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Project leadership experience coordinating stakeholders from concept through implementation.
• Collaborative communicator across Finance, Accounting, leadership, technical teams, and external partners.
• Willingness to travel ~10% as needed.
• Must reside within a reasonable daily commute to Danboro, PA or relocate to the area; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

Overview

An established, privately held global manufacturing and engineering organization is seeking a Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst to manage and optimize its JD Edwards ERP environment. This role partners closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to improve processes, drive efficiency, and deliver business-focused technology solutions that align with strategic objectives.

What you'll do

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and other business stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and translate business challenges into effective JD Edwards solutions.
• Serve as a trusted JD Edwards Finance subject matter expert, with strong knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, reporting, and related financial processes.
• Analyze current processes to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve system utilization, automate activities, and deliver measurable business value.
• Collaborate with technical and development teams to design, evaluate, and implement solutions aligned with business objectives and JD Edwards capabilities.
• Lead JD Edwards-related projects from planning through delivery, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, milestones, communications, testing, and adoption.
• Help users maximize JD Edwards through training, guidance, documentation, and communication of new functionality and system enhancements.
• Champion data quality, process consistency, system governance, security, and financial controls while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Stay current with JD Edwards enhancements and industry best practices, proposing new ideas to improve efficiency, decision-making, and the overall Finance and Accounting experience.

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of ERP Business Systems Analyst experience, with a strong track record supporting JD Edwards financial applications in a business environment.
• Deep JD Edwards functional expertise, particularly within Accounting and Finance.
• Some technical capabilities, including JDE configuration, integrations, and familiarity with JDE development tools.
• Business-minded problem solver able to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Project leadership experience, with the ability to manage priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and move initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Collaborative communicator who works effectively with Finance, Accounting, leadership, technical teams, and external partners across a global organization.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% as business needs require.
• Must reside within a reasonable daily commute to Danboro, PA or be willing to relocate to the area upon hire (must be in the USA).
• Legally authorized to work in the USA, now and in the future, without any form of sponsorship (US Citizen or GC Holder).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience across additional JD Edwards modules is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Residing within a reasonable daily commute to Danboro, PA is preferred.
