Santander US is seeking a Sr. Associate, Business Management to lead complex analyses and reporting across strategic initiatives.
You will partner with management to define metrics, develop analytical approaches, and guide cross-functional teams to improve performance and decision making. The Sr. Associate, Business Management conducts unprecedented or complex analyses and reporting in support of general business operations, special projects/initiatives and/or strategic/operational planning activities. The incumbent consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support functions, and business performance improvement opportunities. S/he is often assigned as a project lead on business unit initiatives of strategic importance.
Defines and develops analytical approaches to unprecedented and complex issues.
Determines where measurement gaps exist and devises new metrics or reports to fill those gaps.
Reviews operational data/metrics, analyzes and synthesizes the data, then compiles into reports or presentations.
Navigates the entire firm in order to effectively complete tasks.
Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
Communicates with internal teams and leaders to stay abreast of organization and function operations and is familiar with company practices relevant to metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, etc.
Leads special projects/initiatives that are of strategic importance for the function or business unit.
Acts as technical leader for any ad-hoc reporting or project needs in the function or business unit.
Collaborates with and supports senior leaders and their teams to ensure analytical and reporting needs are aligned, and supports business and operating results.
Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
Leads projects including assigning work and monitoring quality and completion.
Contributes to the achievement of function or business unit objectives.
Supports data-driven decision-making by team, functional or business unit leaders.

Strong knowledge of the Private Banking Industry. Ability to influence and drive complex initiatives and manage logistics with internal stakeholders. High level of proficiency in financial calculations. Experience in project management, merger and acquisitions, due diligence and transactions. Comfortable using generative AI and AI-enabled tools. Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. Able to maintain the highest degree on confidentiality and professional discretion. Superior problem solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills, oral & written. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AI Tools Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
May frequently require minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Minimum:
$93,750.00 USD
Maximum:
$175,000.00 USD
