This position requires a senior sales professional with at least 5 years of experience and knowledge of Equipment Financing, to drive sales efforts for NewLane Finance. Your responsibilities include developing and cultivating customer and prospect relationships in accordance with our Sales Execution Strategy. The goal is to grow sales activity by helping customers expand their businesses through commercial financing. Sr. BDMs will utilize telephone/email communication and occasionally support vendors in the field to provide an exceptional customer experience. NewLane Finance will provide training, support, and technology solutions to help you succeed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify NewLane Finance’s core values and behaviors.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets based on volume and profitability.
  • Meet with dealer principals, finance managers, and sales managers to introduce and present finance programs and services, relay credit decisions, negotiate terms, close deals, and incorporate financing solutions into vendor strategies.
  • Make approximately 50 outbound business development calls per day to qualified prospects and manage their progression through the sales funnel using Salesforce.
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships.
  • Create and manage a sales territory while adhering to service standards.
  • Mentor and lead junior Business Development Managers.
  • Maintain accurate data in client databases.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from prospects and customers.
  • Partner with credit and operational teams to service customers.
  • Collaborate with sales managers and senior staff on sales strategies.
  • Follow company policies and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience with understanding of the equipment finance industry.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and MS Office preferred.
  • Effective communication skills across all management levels.
  • Desire to learn and self-motivate.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings in a fast-paced environment.
