ITCON Services is seeking a Senior Business and Quality Analyst to lead software development and O&M contracts. You will guide teams through the SDLC, participate in sprint and release planning, and translate stakeholder needs into clear tasks for design and development teams.

You will work with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and promote process improvements following PMI and Agile frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in the Information Technology industry.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Business and Quality Analyst.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and functional details.
• Ability to translate requirements into tasks for Design/Dev teams.
• Expert level SDLC understanding.
• Strong skills creating test plans, test cases, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile practitioner.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA.
• Experience with Figma.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Self-motivated and team oriented.
• Able to multitask and drive multiple projects forward.
• Experience in capturing requirements for reports and dashboards.
• Experience in developing basic reports and dashboards.
• Experience in writing SQL.
• Experience in testing APIs.

ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated, driven, and technically knowledgeable Senior Business and Quality Analyst to join our team. The Senior Business and Quality Analyst will be responsible for leading and performing all aspects of a software application development and/ or O&M contracts, including building and leading development teams, working with analysists, developers, and other project roles to deliver successfully on projects. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, following SDLC best practices, sprint and release planning, understanding customer needs, conducting business analysis, monitoring development/ execution, conducting work-product acceptance, facilitating user acceptance, reporting, and quality assurance of project process flow.

The candidate will be expected to work with minimal supervision, employ effective time management skills to organize and handle multiple highly visible priorities, projects, and products simultaneously. Additional tasks will include advising and instructing project teams on process improvements to promote efficient project delivery and adherence to processes and standards (e.g. PMI and Agile frameworks).

This opening is for a full-time salaried position located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Vienna, VA. Candidate will be dividing time between client site and ITCON office. Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.
