This role is designed to provide leadership and execution capacity across major launch planning, command center readiness, Problem Management, operational performance analysis, and availability improvement efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in high-velocity theme park or hospitality environments, excels at turning operational data into action, and is equally comfortable leading structured improvement workstreams and supporting major day-of launch operations.

This position will play an important role in improving service performance, increasing launch readiness, and strengthening on-site partnership with Disneyland Resort (DLR) through boots-on-the-ground support in Anaheim.

What You'll Do:

This role supports two teams critical to Site Operations success: Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and Launch Readiness.

Continuous Service Improvement
  • Partner across product, engineering, operations, support, and business teams to drive improvement efforts that support org-wide availability objectives
  • Lead or support Lean and Six Sigma exercises, including problem framing, workshop facilitation, root cause analysis, recommendation development, and prioritization
  • Analyze operational data, service trends, incident patterns, and KPI performance to identify opportunities to improve system health and overall organizational availability
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations and help drive implementation through cross-functional alignment
  • Help design and build dashboards, reporting views, and executive-ready summaries that help teams monitor performance and prioritize action
  • Provide support for CSI initiatives focused on service availability, operational excellence, and measurable process improvement
Launch Readiness
  • Provide Launch Readiness support for planning and execution for major initiatives, including project rollouts, product launches, attraction openings, and land openings
  • Serve as a strategic on-site resource in Anaheim to build strong working relationships with site partners and help ensure launch planning and support are aligned to operational needs
  • Support the development of launch plans, readiness runbooks, break glass scenario documentation, and command center planning
  • Provide on-site support for major launch command centers, including real-time coordination, issue triage support, and leadership presence during critical events
  • Help create repeatable launch readiness processes, templates, and mechanisms that improve consistency and execution quality over time
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a high-velocity theme park, hospitality, or other operations environment
  • Significant ITSM experience, including processes and tools for management of Incidents, Problems, Changes, and Release Management.
  • Proven experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into recommendations that resulted in measurable process or performance improvements
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies, including facilitating cross-functional brainstorming and synthesizing and prioritizing recommendations
  • Experience driving major initiatives such as project rollouts, product launches, attraction openings, or land openings
  • Experience building or using dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics platforms
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Disney Experiences, Disney theme parks, or closely related hospitality and operations environments
  • Experience supporting technology operations for parks, commerce, point of sale, booking, or guest-facing systems
  • Experience participating in incident response, command center operations, or day-of launch leadership
  • Familiarity with service availability metrics, operational KPIs, and structured problem-solving techniques
  • Experience creating executive-level reporting and business cases for operational improvement investments
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and/or equivalent work experience.
