DESCRIPTION

The Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) team is tasked with identifying and preventing abuse for our customers and brand owners worldwide. Our growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit to create new solutions, a tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems. The Sales Abuse Prevention team, within TSI, designs and implements policies, tools and technology innovations to protect customers from attempts to boost sales through unfair and illegitimate business practices.

We are looking for a experienced business analyst that will partner with SAP leadership on multiple critical and high impact projects. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping us ensure that customers have a trustworthy buying experience and that brand owners and selling partners using Amazon are successful listing and selling their products. The candidate will be responsible for deep dives on weekly reporting as well as working with the Risk Management team to enhance rules and queries to aid complex investigations.

Key job responsibilities
Business Analysts (BAs) are analytics professionals who work directly with our business leaders (Product, Program, and Account Managers, Marketing, Finance, and Tech partners) to translate the voice of the seller and the data our team owns into actionable insights. BAs work directly with the business and our Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to apply the best data to each analysis they own.

You will be the closest to the business and business leadership team, and will be expected to collaborate with business leaders to not only provide data-based analyses, but also consult on what other data resources our team has to offer. You will dive deep on projects and work with engineers on our BI team on the right mechanisms to continuously inspect and influence the direction that our organization will take. A strong sense of working backwards and product ownership, alongside inclinations to collaborate with your team will ensure that the products we build and the analyses you conduct continuously improve the level of service we can provide to SAP/TSI organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 5+ years handling data-driven business analysis projects including creation of data dashboards, and helping users self-serve data

- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
