Job summary

BIICS, Inc is a Tallahassee-based consultancy seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design across public and private sectors.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create actionable user stories, and manage artifacts in Azure DevOps. The role involves coordinating reviews, ensuring governance and security alignment, and supporting deployments and UAT.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, modernization and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, testers and project managers to define solution requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize requirements artifacts within Azure DevOps.
• Support planning activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida, andcandidates must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee,Florida if required. Consultants are required to be off the week of Christmasand New Year unless services are required with prior approval from divisionleadership.

• Minimum 7 years of experience producingtechnical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceabilitymatrices, designs, or testing.
• Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing AzureDevOps or a comparable Application Lifecycle Management platform for backlogmanagement, requirements management, sprint planning, and release tracking.
• Minimum 7 years of experience testing custom oroff the shelf applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.
• Minimum 7 years of conducting business processanalysis, gap analysis, workflow modeling, and future state solution design.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing userstories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and requirementstraceability matrices.
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with VisualStudio .NET.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio,Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,including experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, andrequirements sessions.
• Demonstrated experience with large scaleimplementation projects that are high profile, include multiple technologiesand functions, and collaborated with multiple stakeholder groups with diverseand competing needs and expectations.
• Experience supporting public sector, earlyeducation, workforce, or human services systems.
