Job summary

ASSYST in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support agile/hybrid development and application modernization. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, SMEs and technical teams to translate business needs into clear requirements.

You will lead workshops, create artifacts, perform as-is/to-be analyses, and drive documentation throughout the SDLC, including testing readiness and migration planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business process analysis and requirements documentation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, process mapping, as-is/to-be analysis, gap analysis and business case development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SDLC, data migration, testing/QA, change and release management.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, workshop and communication skills.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Azure DevOps experience for requirements/backlog management is preferred.
• Power BI exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida IT standards, methodologies, governance practices and Project Management Rule 60GG-1 is preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code Rules 60GG-1 through 60GG-5 is desired.
