Bayer is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive strategic analysis for Employee Services, focused on US Fleet, Travel & Expense, and related operations. You will lead cross-functional projects, assess processes, and ensure compliance while partnering with procurement and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in multiple Fleet and Travel & Expense projects, managing relationships with partners and suppliers.
• Assess business processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies, proposing enhancements and exploring digital trends.
• Communicate non-compliance issues related to corporate policies for Fleet Management Operations and Travel & Expense.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system modifications and North America integrations.
• Assist procurement with negotiations and RFPs for fleet/travel vendors outlining business needs.
• Support executive leadership on employee service topics and drive training/compliance initiatives.
• Lead or partner in audit investigations and manage audit procedures with HR, Risk/Compliance, Legal, etc.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends for compliance and prepare reports for Finance Leadership.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support with Global IT and Global Business Services.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Business Analyst are to:

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in providing strategic business analysis to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks associated with Employee Services, specifically related to US Fleet, Travel & Expense spending and operations. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying risks and inefficiencies while fostering collaboration across departments to achieve strategic goals.

• Project Leadership: Lead and participate in multiple projects, ensuring efficient and timely delivery for Fleet and Travel & Expense while managing relationships with business partners and suppliers. Includes mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;
• Business Process Assessment: Evaluate overall business processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies, providing recommendations for enhancements and exploring new digital trends. Identify ways to increase adoption and improve end user satisfaction (increased utilization of mobile apps, online booking tools etc.) for Fleet Management Operations and Travel & Expense;
• Communication: Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization on non-compliance issues related to associated Corporate Policies, particularly those for Fleet Management Operations and Travel & Expense;
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison with various stakeholders to gather business requirements for system modifications and enhancements, including global business partners on North America integrations;
• Collaborative Partnership: Assist procurement with all negotiations and RFP’s pertaining to all travel expense and fleet-related suppliers outlining business needs and requirements. (Fleet management provider, travel management company, expense report system, etc);
• Executive Support: Provide direct assistance to executive leadership on employee service-related topics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives;
• Training and Compliance: Develop and recommend employee training and communication strategies for the Fleet Management Operations and Travel and Expense programs, driving compliance through improved self-supporting tools;
• Audit Management: Lead/Partner audit investigations, manage audit procedures, and perform third-party supplier audits while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Interact with appropriate stakeholders (HR, Risk and Compliance, Corporate Security, Legal, etc.);
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large data sets to identify trends for compliance purposes, create monthly/quarterly reports for Finance Leadership, and communicate non-compliance issues effectively across the organization;
• Technical Support: Act as Tier 3 support for process and technical issues, collaborating with Global IT and Global Business Services for resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ Years of relevant experience/Fleet related and/or Travel & Expense;
• Experience with SAP, Concur, Citi-Manager and Fleet Management tools.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $91,200 to $136,800. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
