Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) experience to partner with Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT to deliver enhancements, support configuration, and drive successful project outcomes.

You’ll own requirements, testing, stakeholder management, and help improve processes across finance systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience.
• Hands-on SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA experience.
• Experience partnering with Finance/Accounting teams.
• Strong documentation and testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and document business and technical requirements for projects and enhancements.
• Serve as a liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT teams.
• Support and help configure SAP Finance modules including FI-GL, AP, AR, FA; CO-CCA, PCA, Internal Orders.
• Lead/facilitate working sessions and define use cases, test scenarios; coordinate UAT/QA testing.
• Develop training materials and support end-user adoption; assist change management and post-go-live support.
• Participate in vendor evaluation processes (POCs / RFPs / RFQs) when needed.
• Build insights and ad-hoc reporting using SQL, SAP tools, and reporting platforms.

Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst (SAP Finance & Accounting)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Hybrid, Cincinnati OH area)

Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)

Overview We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) experience to partner with Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT to deliver enhancements, support configuration, and drive successful project outcomes. You’ll own requirements, testing, stakeholder management, and help improve processes across finance systems and reporting.

What you’ll do

• Gather, organize, and document business and technical requirements for projects and application enhancements
• Serve as a liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT/technical teams
• Support and help configure SAP Finance modules including:
  • FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA)
  • CO: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders
• Lead/facilitate working sessions (requirements, project status, impact/gap analysis)
• Define use cases, test scenarios, and coordinate UAT/QA testing
• Develop training materials and support end-user adoption (training plans, knowledge sharing)
• Support change management (enhancement requests, change requests) and post-go-live troubleshooting
• Participate in vendor evaluation processes (POCs / RFPs / RFQs) when needed
• Build insights and ad-hoc reporting using SQL, SAP tools, and/or reporting platforms

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience
• SAP S/4HANA experience (required)
• 3–5 years hands‑on experience supporting SAP FI/CO
• Experience partnering directly with Finance & Accounting teams
• Strong documentation skills (BRDs, process flows, user stories/use cases, test plans/cases)
• Strong communication skills—able to work with both executives and technical teams

Preferred / nice-to-have

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC Analytics / SAC Planning)
• 3+ years project management experience
• Experience with large‑scale implementations and systems integrations
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
