Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies in Annapolis, MD is seeking a systems analyst to drive requirements gathering, design, and testing across our IT projects. You will document functional specs, user stories, and system designs while coordinating with business and technical teams.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, translating complex concepts into clear business language and supporting data migration and training during go-live.

• Gather and analyze system requirements, identifying dependencies, conflicts, and gaps.
• Design and document systems, including functional specs, user stories, and architecture diagrams.
• Plan and perform system testing (functional, integration, and user acceptance) to assure quality.
• Support system implementation activities, including data migration and user training.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for system requirements gathering and analysis, which includes analyzing requirements to identify dependencies, conflicts, and gaps.
• Responsible for system design and documentation, which includes developing functional specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
• Responsible for system testing and quality assurance, which includes conducting system testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• System implementation and support, which includes support system implementation activities, such as data migration, user training, and system golive.
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate effectively, translating technical concepts into business � friendly language.
