AI Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Structural Design Engineer to join our Exton, PA office. The role focuses on bridge design, QA/QC, and project support for Pennsylvania regional projects, with opportunities for growth.

The candidate should have a PE license, 7+ years in bridge design, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MicroStation and familiarity with OpenRoads/OpenBridge are valued assets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years in bridge design, with Pennsylvania state DOT project experience.
• NBIS bridge inspection and/or load rating experience is a plus.
• Professional Engineer License is required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation; OpenRoads/OpenBridge a plus.
• PennDOT CBSI experience a plus.

Sr. Bridge Design Engineer

AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) is looking for a Sr. Structural Design Engineer to join our team in our Exton, PA/ Philadelphia area office. This is an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, highly-organized Sr. Structural Design Engineer professional to assist the team with design and QA/QC work for the Pennsylvania regional projects. Candidates should possess a can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently as well as with a team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative consulting firm. Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years in bridge design, with specific experience with Pennsylvania state DOT projects.
• NBIS bridge inspection and/or load rating experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks related to bridge design projects and other transportation-related structural design and analysis projects.
• Design steel, concrete, and/or timber bridge elements, walls, and associated structures.
• Perform structural analyses, develop calculations, and prepare plans in accordance with federal, state, and local agency requirements.
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and special provisions.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of calculations, special provisions, and plans prepared by others.
• Manage and maintain project and QA/QC documentation
• May perform site visits and structure inspections from time to time.
• Assist project managers with assignments including schedule and budget updates and proposal preparation
