Clarity On The Role

Wellvana seeks a Senior Brand Designer to join their Experience team. The role involves conceptualizing and creating campaigns, content, and marketing to support our mission of helping doctors deliver life-changing healthcare.
Our ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, can think strategically and execute flawlessly, communicates effectively, owns projects and timelines, and produces on-brand, emotionally resonant, relevant designs.
This versatile role involves working on print and digital collateral, supporting art direction for video and photoshoots, and executing campaigns across email and direct mail, all while strengthening Wellvana’s brand identity.
Candidates should have a portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and thinking. We welcome applicants from agency or in-house backgrounds, healthcare experience not required.
This position is based in Nashville with some travel expected. Reports to the Creative Director of Visual and collaborates with Content Strategy and CRM teams.

What’s Expected

  • Help grow and adapt the Wellvana brand identity across provider and patient audiences.
  • Manage assigned projects independently, collaborating and critiquing with peers and stakeholders.
  • Present design decisions confidently, incorporate feedback, and manage expectations.
  • Transition seamlessly from insight to execution across mediums and formats.
  • Deepen understanding of the value-based care industry and create supporting communications.
  • Advocate for ideas, elevate team members, and operate collaboratively.
  • Represent Wellvana’s brand mission and values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Fine Arts, Communication, or related field preferred.

Related Experience

  • 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, including branding, print, and digital work.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing thoughtful, well-executed creative work.
  • Willingness to become an expert in healthcare if not already.
  • Experience with in-house brands is helpful but not required.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Figma.
  • Knowledge of HTML / CSS; experience with ESP platforms (Braze, Lob, etc.) is a plus.
  • Comfort with presentation software (PowerPoint, Figma).
  • Experience creating content across digital, social, blog, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages.
  • Curious self-starter with high creative thinking.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working with stakeholders.
