Job summary

ODMHSAS, Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health, is seeking a Sr. Behavioral Health Case Manager in the Social Work Department as a Court Liaison.

This role provides professional case management and intake services to assist clients with treatment through advocacy, referrals, and individualized care plans aligned with recovery goals. The position operates from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, is Non-Exempt, and offers hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• 36+ months of direct experience with mental illness and/or substance use disorder (with HS diploma/GED/HSE)
• 60 college credits with 12 months experience in mental health
• Bachelor's or master's degree in any field with 6 months of relevant experience
• Bachelor's or master's in behavioral health field with 2 years of experience
• Current Oklahoma RN license with behavioral health experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional case management and intake services to assist clients through advocacy, referral assistance and by preparing individual care plans based on recovery goals and strategies.
• Coordinate with the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health - Social Work Dept to support treatment plans.
• Perform duties as Court Liaison and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Level II I - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a minimum of 36 (thirty-six) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School equivalency (HSE) Credential and two (2) years of professional experience.
• OR The completion of 60 (sixty) college credit hours and a minimum of 12 (twelve) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
• OR A bachelor's or master's degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
• OR A bachelor's or master's degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and two (2) years of professional experience.
• OR have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care and two (2) years of professional experience.

Special Requirements

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.
• Certification as a Certified Behavioral Case Manager will be completed within 30 days of start date with the agency, contingent to training availability.
• Incumbents must function in accordance with the Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Health I nsurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) , and all other applicable rules, laws, and authorities.
• Incumbents will adhere to the Professional Standards for Certified Behavioral Heath Case Manage (OAC 450:50-7 Rules of Professional Conduct).
