Job summary

Colorado Living, part of SageHome, is seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee project flow from intake to completion at our Utah operations. You will lead Project Managers, drive throughput, and ensure timely delivery to meet installation targets.

Strong leadership and communication are essential to maintain customer satisfaction and backlog health. You will collaborate with Directors of Operations and warehouse teams to coordinate scheduling, inventory, and shipments, while guiding teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in bath remodeling, residential construction, home improvement, or a related installation environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential bath remodeling and installation practices.
  • Experience managing field installation crews and production schedules.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, production, and Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall flow of projects through the pipeline and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Lead and support the Project Managers to ensure daily workflows and follow-up.
  • Monitor project activity and identify jobs that are stalled, delayed, or at risk.

The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the flow of projects through the pipeline and ensuring projects move efficiently from one stage to the next. This is a critical leadership role that directly impacts the company’s ability to meet monthly installation targets, maintain a healthy backlog, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The Senior Production Manager will lead and support the Project Managers who report to them, providing direction, accountability, and assistance to ensure daily workflows and responsibilities are consistently executed.

  • Oversee the overall flow of projects through the pipeline and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Work directly with Production Managers to ensure jobs are progressing smoothly and efficiently through each stage of the pipeline.
  • Hold Project Managers accountable for completing their daily workflows, responsibilities, and required follow‑up.
  • Monitor project activity and proactively identify jobs that are stalled, delayed, or at risk.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and support to Project Managers to help remove obstacles and keep projects moving.
  • Lead by example through consistent, timely, and professional communication with both customers and internal team members.
Customer Communication & Escalations
  • Ensure consistent and timely customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Set the expectation that Production Managers maintain proactive communication with customers and follow through on commitments.
  • Monitor customer communication and step in when additional leadership or support is required.
  • Take ownership of customer escalations and work with the appropriate teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure customers remain informed regarding project status, scheduling, delays, and next steps.
Operations & Monthly Projections
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to develop accurate monthly projections.
  • Monitor project pipeline activity and pace against monthly installation targets.
  • Identify potential gaps in production and installation targets early enough to take corrective action.
  • Develop and execute strategies to pull qualified jobs forward when opportunities exist.
  • Help ensure the company consistently reaches or exceeds its monthly installation goals.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Work closely with the Inventory and Supply Chain teams to ensure jobs are being built correctly and efficiently.
  • Monitor material and supply levels to ensure the company has the inventory necessary to support installation targets.
  • Identify potential material or supply constraints that could impact project timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve inventory, material, or job‑build issues before they affect scheduling or installation.
Warehouse & Delivery Coordination

The Senior Production Manager will work closely with warehouse associates acrossColorado Springs, Salt Lake City, and Grand Junctionto ensure materials and jobs are positioned to support installation schedules.

Responsibilities include:
  • Confirming deliveries and shipment status.
  • Tracking shipments and identifying potential delays.
  • Coordinating adjustments when deliveries or materials do not align with project needs.
  • Working with warehouse teams to get jobs on the board and ready for scheduling.
  • Communicating changes and priorities clearly to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Proactively resolving logistics issues that could prevent a job from moving forward.
Weekly Pipeline Meetings

The Senior Production Manager will conducttwo pipeline meetings each weekwith the appropriate Production Managers and team members.

These meetings should focus on:

  • Identifying jobs that are at risk.
  • Reviewing project pace and overall pipeline health.
  • Identifying jobs that can be pulled forward.
  • Reviewing upcoming installation opportunities.
  • Addressing project or operational obstacles.
  • Establishing clear action items and ownership.
  • Ensuring the team remains aligned with monthly installation targets.
Performance & Scorecard

The Senior Production Manager will be measured on the effectiveness and efficiency of the project pipeline. Key performance indicators will include:

  • Backlog Management: How efficiently the team is managing and moving the backlog through the pipeline.
  • Monthly Installation Performance: Performance against monthly installation targets.
  • RTP Aging: The amount of time jobs remain in RTP status.
  • BnO Aging: The amount of time jobs remain in BnO status.
  • Pending Scheduling Aging: The amount of time jobs remain in Pending Scheduling status.
  • At-Risk Jobs: The team’s ability to identify and proactively address projects that are at risk of missing targets or customer commitments.
  • Customer Communication: The consistency, timeliness, and quality of communication with customers.
  • Production Manager Accountability: The consistency and effectiveness with which Production Managers are managing their daily responsibilities and moving jobs through the pipeline.

This is a critical role to the overall function of the business and the company’s ability to achieve its installation targets. The Senior Production Manager is expected to be proactive, organized, responsive, and solution-oriented.

The Senior Production Manager mustlead by example. The standard for communication, accountability, urgency, and follow‑through starts with this role. Consistent and timely communication with customers is essential, as is consistent and timely communication with the Production Managers who report to the Senior Production Manager.

The expectation is not simply to monitor the pipeline, but toactively manage it—identifying obstacles, creating solutions, holding the team accountable, and taking action to keep projects moving toward completion and installation.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in bath remodeling, residential construction, home improvement, or a related installation environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential bath remodeling and installation practices.
  • Experience managing field installation crews and production schedules.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements, drawings, work orders, and project specifications.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and installation methods.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, production, and Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with acrylic/fiberglass bath systems, tub‑to‑shower conversions, walk‑in tubs, shower systems, or related bath products.
  • Experience managing office staff including permitting and production coordination.
  • Experience managing installation KPIs and labor budgets.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and reach.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors in person and by telephone.
