AERMOR is seeking a Software Engineer IV in Virginia Beach to support software development, system design, documentation, and testing. The role involves reviewing source code, participating in code reviews, developing and validating software test plans, ensuring requirements traceability, and supporting configuration management.

The position is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA with compensation aligned to experience and market norms.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux environments and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with system and database design and development.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, VueJS; Python/Java also considered.
• Strong experience with C++ on Linux and command line toolchain.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software source code to identify defects and ensure coding standards.
• Participate in and support code reviews and testing activities.
• Develop APIs and service layers for backend systems.
• Support configuration management and version control processes.
