Key Responsibilities:

As an Azure Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, deploying, maintaining, and automating our software development pipeline from source control through production.

Design and development of an organization's infrastructure is one of the key responsibilities of this role. You will deploy automation that reduces risk management and upholds the infrastructure of the organization.

Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the full lifecycle.

Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.

Key Skills:

Technology must-have skills:

1. Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and tools.
2. Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SALT, etc.
3. Familiarity with Azure Cloud services: PaaS, ASE, AKS, or other services.

Job Requirements:

8+ years of IT experience in DevOps concepts and tools - (Visa Independent resource only USC/GC).

Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SALT, etc.

Experience working with on-prem CI/CD pipeline integrating with Azure Cloud services: ADLS, Cosmos DB, ASE, AKS, or other services.

Experience deploying microservices to ASE or AKS.

Good knowledge of scripting: Shell, PowerShell, etc.

Hands-on experience with debugging and troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues with Azure PaaS.

Work closely with the enterprise DevOps team to leverage the enterprise deployment pipeline for creating Azure resources and deploying on-premises built code artifacts.

Strong working knowledge of project management and code maintenance tools such as:

1. Gradle
2. IntelliJ
3. Bitbucket
4. Jenkins
5. Jira
6. Nexus
7. Confluence
8. SALT

Good to have additional skills:

Leverage enterprise processes in place for setting continuous monitoring of Azure PaaS services.

Knowledge of Azure Data Bricks or AKS.

Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Pipelines, and Container Registry.

• Good verbal and written communication skills - able to articulate and communicate information and ideas to varying audiences and in multiple written styles (persuasive, informative, narrative) to work with large/multiple teams.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and remediate gaps.
