Job Description

If you have AWS Cloud and AI experience, this is a great opportunity. We are looking for a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to partner with Architecture to build out operational support of AI. The Sr. IT Systems Engineer is responsible for constructing detailed designs based on architectural guidance, being a deep subject matter expert, supporting secured IT infrastructure, and leading other engineers to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Architecture to build out operational support of AI.
• Design, build, and support applications in AWS using services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Containers.
• Have significant experience with core AWS services like VPC, CloudWatch, compute, networking, storage.
• Collaborate with IT and product teams to develop project scope and solutions.
• Write and support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Develop and promote standards and their adoption.
• Manage work direction, lead, influence, mentor, and give feedback to team members.
• Oversee execution of strategic initiatives.
• Create logical design based on architectural reviews.
• Act as a collaboration pivot between engineers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven effective communication to diverse audiences.
• Experience with relevant domain technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies and Cloud AI Services.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Background in PBM/healthcare industry.
• Understanding of security implications.
• ITIL Foundations Certification.
• Interest in management and leadership roles.

Physical Demands

• Travel up to 10%.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and shifts outside core hours.
• Physical abilities including sitting, handling, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and specific vision capabilities.

Employees must adhere to security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $94,000 to $160,000 based on experience and skills.
