T.O. Haas Tire has been serving the community since 1947 with 24 locations across Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa. We sell various tire brands for cars, pickups, SUVs, tractors, trailers, ATVs, and more. Besides tires, we offer automotive services including oil changes, alignments, brakes, exhaust, shocks, struts, cooling systems, transmission fluid flushes, and employ ASE Certified Technicians to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

We are currently hiring Auto Repair Techs with immediate openings. If you are a motivated technician capable of handling multiple repairs daily, with support for parts and invoicing, you can focus on your repairs and increase your earnings. This is an excellent opportunity to make great money!

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently, following MAP guidelines, and adhering to dealership, manufacturer, and company standards.

COMPENSATION: $30.00/Hr. to $40.00/Hr.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicles based on certification/experience level
• Perform work outlined on Inspection and Repair Orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle complex and heavy-duty repairs
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff
• Recommend necessary services and document them properly
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns
• Work flexible schedules, including Saturdays
• Follow Sun Auto’s core values and policies

Qualifications:

• Experience as an automotive technician/mechanic required
• ASE certifications can substitute experience
• Proficiency with diagnostic computerized equipment
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The role involves exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, lubricants, and hazardous materials. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and good vision. Accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
