Job summary

Bluum in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Project Manager – Systems Integration to lead the project from purchase order through completion. You will guide a team, coordinate with clients and internal staff, and ensure installations meet scope, timing, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include coaching project managers, removing roadblocks, managing change orders, and ensuring accurate project billing and reporting. On-site role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and process improvement.

Job description

This positionis responsible forproviding leadership to the Project as well as managing Systems Integration projects from the point of purchase order to final project completion.

Leadership

  • Ensure project managers feel supported, and that their concerns are listened to and addressed when they arise
  • Provide coaching to project managers in a supportive way
  • Clear roadblocks to ensure project managers can work effectively
  • Nurture a team culture of proactive communication,efficiencyand problem-solving
  • Inspire team members to constantly improve processes, clientrelationshipsand work delivery
  • Motivate team members toparticipatein a collaborative environment
  • Strengthen the project management team with education and training and hold project managers accountable to, process standards
  • In conjunction with the Director of Project Management,establishand monitor performance; develop and assign goals, as well asestablishpriorities
  • Conduct bi-weekly 1:1 meetings and annual reviews with employees
  • Manage projects where necessary toassistthe team

Project Management

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively between internal and external customers.
  • Attend Project Management and onsite project relatedmeetingsas necessary.
  • Perform site visits on projects, as outlined in the PM manual, to verify Scope of services, equipment list accuracy, and site conditions/readiness to ensure proper installation and systems functionality.
  • Facilitate customer Change Orders.
  • Coordinate and/or verify installationlogistics.
  • Solve problems in a calm and orderly fashion as they arise to ensure quality and satisfaction. Follow up with the customer to make sure that the problem was solved appropriately.
  • Provide assistance tothe Sales Engineers, Sales Representatives, Systems Integration Sales Support staff, other Project Managers, and Installers as required by each project.
  • Provide SystemsInstallersall necessary information to complete equipment installation, including a handover meeting prior to the start of each installation.
  • Review completed projects, making sure that the project is completed accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Responsible for project signoff on all projects.
  • Answer orfacilitatethe answer to technical questions and concerns on current and completed System Integration installations.
  • Provide Sales Support Staff and Management withup to dateproject billing information and project status updates.
  • Coordinate control system interfacing with control system programmer.
  • Verify and coordinate the updating of as-built drawings at project completion.
  • Provide basic system training to customers as needed.
  • Update Project Completion Tracker and other internal measurable documents.
  • Recognizing and channeling potential future sales opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability towritereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,customersand thegeneral public.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data,establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlookrequired. Internet knowledge and the ability to usethe appropriatetools to research are essential.
