Job summary

AREA15 Las Vegas is hiring a Senior Attractions Operator to oversee daily operations across immersive experiences and live events. You will support safety compliance, maintenance, and guest interactions while upholding AREA15's ART! service standards.

In this role you will train staff, manage shift rosters, monitor attraction performance, and ensure smooth ticketing and guest information delivery. The position requires flexible hours including nights and weekends in a dynamic entertainment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• At least 2 years of similar experience preferred.
• Able to work at heights up to 140 ft.
• Valid work card (Non-Gaming).
• Familiar with PPE and fall protection.
• Able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Experience in amusements or entertainment settings preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in applying safety regulations and risk assessments.
• Perform maintenance procedures to ensure safe operation.
• Train staff for attraction operation and safety.
• Prepare daily staff rotations and delegate tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of attractions and troubleshoot faults.
• Ensure ticketing runs smoothly and adjust capacity as needed.
• Be a role model and ambassador for the AREA15 brand.
• Load and unload activations safely.
• Enforce ride restrictions and safety policies.
• Sell and verify tickets for activations.
• Greet guests and provide information about AREA15.
• Communicate effectively with business contacts.
• Maintain professional appearance per AREA15 standards.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Exhibit ART! service standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB OVERVIEW:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Help with the efficient application of the safety regulations and conduct assigned risk assessments needed to ensure a safe environment to visitors and staff.
• Assist in performing daily, monthly and annual maintenance procedures to ensure continued safe operation of attractions.
• Help train staff for operation of attractions ensuring a thorough understanding of the operations and safety requirements of units.
• Help prepare daily staff rotations and delegate tasks when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of attractions including operational procedures, remedies to mechanical and computer faults, and emergency procedures. Help operators in need of additional train.
• Ensure attraction ticketing is running smoothly, reporting and making capacity adjustments as advised in timely manner, when needed.
• Be a role model to staff and serve as an ambassador for the AREA15 brand.
• Safely load and unload activations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures & enforce ride restrictions.
• Sell tickets following established policies and procedures & Verify tickets and booking times at each activation.
• Greet & provide guests with information to AREA15 and the activations.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and health regulations.
• Exhibit ART! (AREA15’s service standards) at all times.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work in a dark environment featuring flashing lights.
• Previous experience in an amusement setting is preferred.
• Capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
