Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of experience in public entity defense, focusing on municipal law, government, and municipalities, land use, labor and employment.
  • Bar admission in good standing.
  • Proven experience representing clients in litigation and other legal proceedings.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to public entities.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert legal counsel to public entities, including municipalities, government agencies, and other public organizations.
  • Representing clients in litigation and other legal proceedings involving land use, labor and employment, and other areas of municipal law.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive legal strategies to protect the interests of our clients and achieve their legal objectives.
  • Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and legal strategy development.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Advising clients on compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and legal developments.
  • Collaborating with other members of our legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Attorney specializing in Public Entity Defense to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of public entity defense, with a focus on providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.   • 5. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to public entities.
  • 6. Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • 7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • 8. Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also a strong team player.
  • 9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • 10. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
