Jobot is seeking a seasoned Sr. Attorney to join our legal team in Georgia.

This permanent role handles high-profile cases across personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries, from inception through trial and appeal, with a focus on truck and auto accidents, medical malpractice, and tort law. The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctorate and a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, including first and second chair jury trials, and must be admitted to the Georgia Bar.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience focusing on personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury.
• Proven trial experience, including first chair and second chair roles in jury trials.
• Demonstrated expertise in tort law, especially truck and auto accidents and medical malpractice.
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception to disposition, including trial preparation, motions, and appellate work.
• Represent clients in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, truck and auto accidents, and medical malpractice.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to each case.
• Conduct thorough, high-level legal research and analysis.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and pleadings.
• Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Consult with medical experts, investigators, and other specialists to prepare for trial.
• Advocate for clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and evidence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Georgia law and legal trends in relevant practice areas.

• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
