Job summary

Etherio is seeking a Sr. Association Manager to engage with members on various issues, support invoicing processes, and manage large data mapping projects. The role includes financial data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with accounting.

The position requires strong communication, advanced Excel, and financial acumen, with hybrid work options. Travel up to 4 times per year and the ability to work both independently and in a team will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; public speaking ability.
  • Advanced Excel with data analysis/transformation functions.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting understanding.
  • Exceptional data analysis and attention to detail; deadline-driven.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual invoicing – data acquisition, mapping, and coordination with portal vendor.
  • Develop fee estimates and invoices for new members.
  • Answer invoicing/cost allocation questions via calls/emails.
  • Manage self-reported data and track payments in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate payment processing with Etherio Accounting and generate reports.
  • Prepare monthly cash receipts reconciliations and support ad hoc invoicing projects.

Job description

SR. ASSOCIATION MANAGER

This role provides an opportunity to engage with members on a variety of issues, support the cost allocation and invoicing process, manage large data mapping projects, support financial statement presentation, and perform financial data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual invoicing process – data acquisition and mapping, coordinating with portal developer/vendor, trouble shooting, working with individual members.
  • Develop fee estimates and invoices for new members.
  • Participate on calls/respond to emails as needed to answer questions related to invoicing/cost allocation.
  • Manage self-reporting/self-reported data.
  • Process incoming payments in Salesforce & provide necessary reports, as required.
  • Coordinate payment processing and posting with Etherio Accounting.
  • Track/follow-up with unpaid members
  • Track/follow-up with payment plan members.
  • Generate payment plan invoices in Salesforce
  • Revise invoices in Salesforce as needed.
  • Prepare monthly cash receipts reconciliations
  • Manage/Support ad hoc invoicing and finance projects.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); including ability to present and speak in public
  • Advanced Excel skills, must be confident with a wide variety of functions/formulas for data analysis and transformation
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Exceptional data analysis and analytical skills
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in Salesforce preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Outstanding customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically
Workplace Location Requirements

Preferred location is DC, but remote candidates are considered. We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations.

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel at most 4 times per year.
