Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children’s wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Bangkok, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, London and Montreal.

Overview:

The Sr. Associate Merchandiser will assist the Merchandiser/Sr. Merchandiser/Director in planning, analyzing and merchandising the product assortments by account for a designated brand.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Lead a focused category in the development of all working tools including line plans, directed assortments and meeting agendas and recaps
  2. Present focused category at GTM, Line Review Meetings and specific sales meetings
  3. Lead cross functional team meeting (Sales, Planning, Design and Sourcing), provide recaps and ensure smooth communication
  4. Develop strong, effective relationships with cross functional partners to help identify growth opportunities
  5. Review and analyze sales performance for assigned brands and provide recaps on findings and opportunities
  6. Own development of ATS projects, postmortem recaps, become proficient in Power BI for focused category
  7. Own the sampling and sourcing priority process and communication for focused category
  8. Create pricing pyramid based on pricing architecture and offer price suggestions in focused category
  9. Create focused seasonal Directed Assortments by channel of distribution to satisfy the business needs and account segmentation in partnership with your manager
  10. Share key looks and assortments with Integrated Marketplace team to support showroom set up
  11. Conduct competitive research and compile market data to identify trends and future opportunities and evaluate market pricing
  12. Ensure the product is represented appropriately according to brand standards and co-initiatives in selected sales meetings
  13. Track SMU approvals and manage and recap within Merch Tracker
  14. Assist with quarterly sample closet clean out
  15. Prep, ship and unpack all samples needed for key corporate meetings and photo shoots
  16. Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or related field
  2. 2+ years of experience in related field and/or strong internship experience
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  4. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office
