Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A for I2C to support AR/AP processes, cash allocation, and end-to-end cash applications. You will collaborate across AR entities, maintain SOPs, and resolve client inquiries while ensuring timely reconciliations.

The role focuses on cash allocation, collections analytics, and maintaining accuracy in the AR value chain within a fast-paced environment. Office-based work with night shifts in India. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with AR/AP processes and SAP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cash application and remittance matching.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and process invoices or mail copies.
• Understand and perform cash allocation per remittances with validation and reporting.
• Perform cash application and allocate payments to invoices.
• Collaborate with AR entities and monitor aged receivables across buckets.
• Serve as SME for AR processes and maintain AR value chain knowledge.
• Create and update SOPs and related updates.
• Handle client inquiries and information requests.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end-to-end cash application.
• Ensure DRR is completed timely, accurately, and confidentially.
• Follow up on disputes and coordinate across departments for resolution.
• Reconcile orders to customer books and validate credits/debits for collection or refunds.

Job Description

• Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests.
• Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business.
• Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances.
• Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets.
• Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference.
• Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time.
• Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications.
• Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
• Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
• Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
