Edwards Vacuum, LLC in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sr. Assembly & Test Technician to support multiple work centers, including electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly and test, and final assembly.

Build and verify modules, cables and dry pumps using engineered drawings and documented requirements while maintaining throughput. Responsibilities include training and mentoring technicians, following procedures, and ensuring safety and quality standards in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical component construction and assembly/testing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings/diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pneumatic.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 2 years experience of assembly & test in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Salary Range: $21.63 - $31.27

Your role

The primary mission of the Senior A&T Technician is to support various work centers, including electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly & test, and final assembly, to ensure seamless production flow and high-quality output. The A&T Technician will primarily build and assemble modules, cables and dry pumps using engineered drawings and documented requirements. The Senior A&T Technician is required to meet the build standard as defined in the assembly and test procedures and maintain a continuous throughput in their area of responsibility. In addition, the Sr. Assembly & Test Technician will train and mentor technicians as required.

• 1. Assemble and test modules, cables and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan – focusing on quality and output targets.
