Bancroft Staffing Partners (BSP) is partnering with a leading employee-owned architecture and design firm to hire a Senior Project Manager for healthcare in Southern California. Lead complex medical projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role offers hybrid schedule (3 days/wk in Ontario, CA), potential PM or Senior PM level depending on experience, and exposure to HCAI/OSHPD projects with healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of architectural experience, including healthcare project management.
• Senior level with proven healthcare leadership.
• California healthcare project knowledge (HCAI/OSHPD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage healthcare architecture projects from programming through construction administration.
• Lead project teams, consultants, and staff to meet schedule and budget.
• Serve as primary contact for healthcare clients, owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee project finances, schedules, staffing, contracts, and consultant coordination.
• Navigate HCAI/OSHPD requirements and California codes.
• Collaborate with architects and design teams to ensure quality execution.
• Build long-term client relationships and grow the healthcare practice.
• Mentor junior staff and support professional development.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / PM – Healthcare (HCAi/OSHPD) to join our growing Southern California healthcare practice. This opportunity offers the ability to lead impactful healthcare projects, develop strong client relationships, and manage multidisciplinary teams delivering complex medical environments.

Candidates will be considered at the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level, depending on experience, leadership capabilities, and healthcare project expertise.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage healthcare architecture projects from programming and design through construction administration and completion.
• Lead project teams, consultants, and technical staff to deliver successful projects on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as a key point of contact for healthcare clients, owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee project financials, schedules, staffing, contracts, and consultant coordination.
• Navigate HCAI/OSHPD requirements, regulatory approvals, and California healthcare building codes.
• Coordinate with project architects and design teams to ensure quality, technical accuracy, and successful project execution.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to the growth of our healthcare practice.
• Mentor junior team members and support professional development.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Project Manager: 8–12+ years of architectural experience, including healthcare project management.
• Senior Project Manager: 12–15+ years of architectural experience with proven healthcare project leadership.
• Strong experience with HCAI/OSHPD-regulated healthcare projects in California.
• Experience managing hospital renovations, expansions, outpatient facilities, medical centers, or similar projects.
• Demonstrated success managing clients, multidisciplinary teams, project budgets, and schedules.
• Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and project management software.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• California Licensed Architect (RA) preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
