Orion Steel Group LLC seeks a Sr. Application Development Analyst to assist design, develop, test and deploy manufacturing software. You will optimize critical systems and support production, quality and shipping processes with Oracle-based tools.

The role requires a BS in CS and 4 years of relevant experience, including Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Forms, Reports and ORDS, plus JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and RESTful services. On-site in Pueblo, CO with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Four years of application development experience, with one year in steel manufacturing.
• Experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Oracle Apex.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and RESTful web services using ORDS.
• Experience with DBMS Job Scheduler and version control tools (Git / SVN).
• Knowledge of SSRS reporting.

Help to ensure that vital manufacturing systems are optimized and that they consistently operate smoothly. Research, design and develop software systems in support of the production, quality, and shipping activities for products. Troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing Management Information Systems applications as required. Performing other software development duties as necessary. Schedule and attend meetings with Operation, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping users to develop software requirements.
