Orion Steel Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Engineering to design, deploy, and maintain a complex enterprise network across multiple locations. You will lead network architecture design, implement security measures, and mentor a team of engineers while coordinating with the CISO and vendors.

This role demands deep Cisco expertise, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Cisco networking and firewall equipment.
• 3+ years as Network Manager of a mid-size organization (>$500M revenue).
• Experience leading a team of 3+ network engineers.
• 2+ years experience with Cisco Umbrella and Cisco ISE.
• CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure, Design Expert or Data Center) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex Cisco networks across multiple locations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco networking hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Develop and implement network security measures (firewalls, IDS).
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation to users and other engineers.
• Collaborate with vendors and other engineers to maintain network infrastructure.

This includes designing and implementing new networks, as well as upgrading and maintaining existing networks* Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco networking hardware and software.
