Salary: USD70 - USD85 per hour

Title: Senior Integration Developer

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $70-85/hr.

Type: Contract

We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless communication and data exchange across business-critical systems. This role will play a key part in delivering scalable, secure, and reliable integrations while partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external technology providers.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with API development, cloud-based integration technologies, and the Microsoft ecosystem. This individual will lead integration design efforts, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and help establish best practices for enterprise integration architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across multiple platforms and applications.
  • Lead the architecture and design of secure, scalable, and maintainable integration frameworks.
  • Develop, support, and enhance API-based integrations and automated workflows.
  • Create solutions that facilitate data transformation, orchestration, and synchronization between systems.
  • Participate in all phases of the integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Monitor and optimize integration performance to ensure reliability and business continuity.
  • Evaluate and recommend modern integration approaches, tools, and technologies.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to deliver successful integration projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on integration best practices and architecture standards.
  • Support project planning, implementation, deployment, and ongoing enhancement initiatives.
  • Document technical designs, integration specifications, support procedures, and operational processes.
Support & Operational Excellence
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, connectivity, authentication, and data flow issues.
  • Support production deployments, maintenance activities, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and proactive support processes for integration services.
  • Ensure integrations align with security, governance, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations.
  • Strong experience building and troubleshooting API-based integrations.
  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP Web Services
    • Webhooks
    • Authentication and Authorization Methods
    • Data Mapping and Transformation
    • Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Experience with cloud-based integration and automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience developing integrations within Microsoft-centric environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application integration, and systems connectivity.
  • Experience supporting integrations throughout the full solution lifecycle.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and data exchange issues.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise integration projects or serving as a technical lead.
  • Experience working with external software providers and technology partners.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud integration and event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and deployment automation.
  • Experience working in secure, highly regulated, or enterprise-scale environments.
  • Cloud platform certifications or integration-focused certifications.
  • Exposure to workflow automation, messaging platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems.
