Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with API development, system integrations, backend development using .NET, and full-stack technologies. This role requires someone who can work closely with product, business, technical, vendor, and third-party teams to deliver scalable solutions. The engineer will also help resolve integration issues, reduce technical debt, improve system performance, and guide junior engineers.
Required
- Exp: 8-10 yrs Experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions.
- Strong experience with API and system integration development.
- Experience working with internal and third-party systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles.
Preferred
- Background in system administration, environment support, or application configuration.
- Experience leading data mapping and transformation efforts.
- Experience delivering system interfaces across multiple teams.
- Experience resolving complex integration issues.
- Experience with full-stack development using Angular, .NET APIs, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Azure, GitHub CI/CD, and Playwright.
- Experience with automated testing and production support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and support production-quality software solutions.
- Build APIs, system integrations, reusable components, and technical libraries.
- Develop and support integrations between internal and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead corrective actions to resolve recurring or systemic problems.
- Design scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing systems.
- Support data mapping and transformation activities to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Identify and reduce technical debt across existing applications.
- Anticipate challenges related to scalability, latency, performance, and system durability.
- Work with security teams to incorporate secure development practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, business teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD, deployment, configuration, and environment management.
- Identify opportunities for code reuse and reduce duplicated efforts across teams.
- Coach junior engineers and promote strong engineering practices.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and recommend improvements to delivery processes.
- Research emerging technologies and develop prototypes when appropriate.
