Job Description

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Android development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
• Good experience in the following:Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, background operations in Android apps, Jetpack Compose, Work Manager, Job Scheduler, RxJava, Services, Foreground Services, Retrofit, Dagger DI, Room Database Library, Git
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
• Knowledge of theopen-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud (Azure) and push notifications
• Nice to have: Headless app development experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
