Job description

About Netskope

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security. Since 2012, we have built the market‑leading cloud security company and an award‑winning culture powered by hundreds of employees spread across offices in Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Paris, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our core values are openness, honesty, and transparency, and we purposely developed our open desk layouts and large meeting spaces to support and promote partnerships, collaboration, and teamwork. From catered lunches and office celebrations to employee recognition events and social professional groups such as the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), we strive to keep work fun, supportive and interactive. About the Position

In this role you will drive a strategic AR plan to ensure applicable analysts from top tier firms are knowledgeable of Netskope’s offering, current, and future plans. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with Gartner, Forrester, IDC and other analyst firms to increase visibility, and understanding what research, directly and indirectly to Netskope’s space, is trending. Understanding key analysts’ priorities, Netskope’s priorities, and logical overlap, are important to ensure Netskope is viewed as a thought leader and driving innovation in key markets.

The AR Manager will strategically plan and execute programs to secure leadership positions in key vendor evaluations, including Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, and IDC MarketScapes. Operating independently in a fast‑paced cybersecurity environment, this leader will define and track measurable AR metrics while collaborating across Corporate Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, PR, and Campaign teams. The ideal candidate will scale operations efficiently, make sound business decisions aligned with Netskope’s priorities, and purposefully integrate AI frameworks and productivity tools to make the AR program faster, more scalable, and highly impactful. The position reports to the VP, Analyst Relations.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a strategic AR plan that is in line with Netskope’s Corporate priorities.
  • Identify key analysts/firms, their relevant research, manage relationships, track progress, establish and own metrics, including key performance indicators, that reflect AR success.
  • Integrate AI tools, agents, and automation into daily activities to streamline operations, accelerate turnaround times, and scale the outbound reach of the AR program.
  • Drive the early planning and execution to yield positive results in Gartner MQs, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes – briefings, inquiries, and consulting sessions are key.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate content is being communicated to analysts early and often and insights are being extracted and communicated.
  • Leverage AI technologies and advanced tracking platforms to expeditiously capture, synthesize, and distribute analyst sentiment and feedback to key internal stakeholders in support of product strategy and GTM campaigns.
  • Ability to work with all levels and teams within Netskope, including the C‑Suite; autonomous and independent strategic planning, execution, and communication is a critical requirement for this role.
  • Ability to identify customer references, nurture those relationships, and ensure these are shared with key analysts.
  • Strong acumen for content creation – working with analysts is not a project management role; it’s important to help create content for analysts, provide insight on what works well and what doesn’t, and provide internal counsel to stakeholders that interact with analysts from slide content, demos, and talk track; all aspects of analyst interactions are led by the AR leader providing guidance and influence at every turn.
  • External conference participation – lead the planning and execution of participation at key industry events meeting with analysts, soliciting insight, and advancing Netskope’s agenda.
  • Work tightly with PR and Campaign/Launch teams to ensure analyst coverage is maximized and continue building market awareness.
  • Support numerous internal teams that can benefit from AR – help demand generation teams, campaigns, sales, PM, PSM and more.
  • Execute thoughtful consulting days with key outcomes in mind that help Netskope and empower the analysts.
Requirements
  • 5+ years with direct Analyst Relations experience including Gartner, Forrester, IDC.
  • 5+ years of experience with a technology vendor.
