Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team in Mexico. In this role, you will identify qualified suppliers, manage purchase orders from requisition to invoice payment, and negotiate pricing to support cost strategies.

You should have a university degree in a related field, SAP/ERP experience, and advanced English. The role is remote with limited on-site requirements and some travel to sites as needed; excellent collaboration with requisitioners and cross-functional

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX, PRISM).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified suppliers for requirements, leveraging existing agreements.
• Manage purchase order process from requisition to invoice payment for assigned commodities.
• Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms in support of cost strategies.
• Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations.
• Ensure on-time delivery to schedule.
• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms.
• Complete PO documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure timely placement of orders to support business needs.
• Strong communications skills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups.
• Collaborate as a team member on additional supply chain projects.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering,Logisticsor a related fieldwith a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Minimumof 1yearofexperience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment,including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM

• Advancedproficiencyin English

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong communicationskills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English.

• Proficiencyin SAP and Ariba (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies.

• Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing oraerospace environment.

• Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) purchasing, including sourcing and procurement.
