At Oak Street, the Patient Safety function ensures safety practices are embedded in daily operations and that the provision of care is safe and high quality.

The Senior Analyst, Patient Safety reports to the Director of Patient Safety. The ideal candidate enjoys solving challenging problems, relies on data for insights, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role will require strong relationships across the enterprise.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage data collected from multiple sources (reporting, observations, medical records) to identify key trends to drive high-impact initiatives to improve safety prevention and reduce risk
  2. Develop and maintain extensive reporting mechanisms, including dashboards, to communicate safety trends to clinical and business leaders
  3. Provide analytical support across clinical operations functions (vaccine and lab reporting, communicable disease reporting, and environment of care)
  4. Develop materials and lead discussions with relevant organizational leaders, including both clinical and operational audiences
  5. Support formal safety investigations and response, including root cause analysis
  6. Other duties, as determined by direct manager

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience working in healthcare or related field
  2. Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  3. Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables
  4. Champions a collaborative working style, able to partner cross-functionally
  5. Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information
  6. Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  7. Comfort with ambiguity
  8. Able to communicate effectively across different audiences and stakeholders
  9. Bachelor’s degree required
  10. US work authorization

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
