We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Logistics Sr Analyst to oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and inventory control of chemicals and time-sensitive materials within our warehouse and factory environment. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining accurate tracking and timely usage of materials with expiration constraints.

What You Will Do

  • Receive, label, store, and manage inventory of all chemicals in accordance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).

  • Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, lot numbers, and expiration dates using inventory management systems.

  • Ensure proper segregation and storage of incompatible materials.

  • Track shelf-life materials to ensure timely usage or disposal.

  • Implement and manage a proactive rotation system (FIFO or FEFO).

  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to minimize waste due to expiration.

  • Ensure all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are current and accessible.

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe storage and handling practices.

  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Support the development and delivery of chemical handling and storage training for warehouse staff.

  • Generate regular reports on material status, usage trends, and upcoming expirations.

  • Document any discrepancies, spills, or incidents in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications we Prefer:

  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling, SDS requirements, and chemical compatibility.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking tools.

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
