Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. seeks an experienced Learning & Development specialist to lead LMS curriculum design and delivery. You will drive technology-driven learning initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and mentor peers in implementing training programs using SuccessFactors LMS.

Based in Chicago, this onsite role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to lead major projects and optimize learning experiences across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, HR, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of employee learning and onboarding experience with knowledge in training strategy, design and development.
  • 1+ years learning design, development and facilitation with growth in L&OD space.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of LMS curriculums and assignments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive design and enhancement of technology-driven learning processes and platforms (SuccessFactors LMS) as SME.
  • Partner with and mentor cross-functional peers to support LMS execution.
  • Independently design and develop advanced learning materials and lead key projects.
  • Coordinate complex training logistics for onsite sessions and virtual events.

Job Summary
  • Lead the design and implementation of LMS curriculums, audience groups, and assignments, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Drive the design and enhancement of technology‑driven learning processes and platforms (especially via SuccessFactors LMS), acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Partner with and mentor cross‑functional peers to support proper LMS execution.
  • Independently design and develop advanced learning and organizational development materials, sometimes taking the lead on the key projects.
  • Own, complete, and drive to completion role‑appropriate projects, proactively communicating status, progress and potential roadblocks to leaders and peers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Proactively collaborate with L&OD team and other stakeholders to schedule and coordinate complex training logistics for onsite training and learning events.
  • Lead and facilitate a variety of learning events, both live and virtually.
  • Proactively analyze and interpret key learning finding and attendance data, providing strategic recommendations and insights to leadership.
  • Champion efforts to maintain, optimize, and innovate current learning curriculums and events, identifying opportunities for improvement, and in role‑appropriate situations/projects recommending solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for learning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Oversee and optimize the management, storage, inventory, and vendor management‑related tasks for supplies and printed materials.
  • Manage and resolve complex inquiries received via shared email boxes, providing exceptional customer services and mentoring others in best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, often supporting high‑impact, cross functional projects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of employee learning and/or employee onboarding and/or orientation experience with knowledge in training, learning strategy, design, and development.
  • 1+ years of learning design, development, and learning facilitation with desire to grow in space in all things L&OD.
  • Ability to find joy, fun, and passion in work and when working and collaborating with others.
  • 1+ years of learning needs assessment, instructional design and development, curriculum management/maintenance, delivery, and program coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to demonstrate learning ability in a fast‑paced working environment.
  • Ability to partner, communicate effectively with a variety of different stakeholders.
  • Must be a strong team player and collaborator.
  • Solid project management, conflict resolution and people management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach, with proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
What We Offer

$70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus

Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location of the role. Roles may be eligible for annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
